Last Sunday I went to Amsterdam to shoot Chris's barbaric CB550. We had a great day! More on his bike in the upcoming issue.

Wednesday evening
Wednesday was rather strange. I built my chopper years ago and never, ever took it to a shop for any repairs. Always did it myself, and with the help of my friends. In my garage, in their garage or hey, at the side of the road. The last time though it became kind of a pain in the ass, and the lack of time and eventually the lack of motivation resulted in a lot of overdue maintenance and repairs. So, as I said, it was rather strange to taken it to a shop for the first time and leave it there. Shop of choice is Short Cut Choppers in Ede, the Netherlands. Tjeerd has been building cool choppers for a long time and we know each other for some years now. So there's my trusty Shovel, which hasn't been that trusty lately. Good luck Tjeerd, give 'm hell!

Graveyard shift
An unusual sight. But Harry did it. He entered the graveyard, turned his back, and walked away. That's the spirit! His bike is rather special, apart from the fact everything is hand made. It's the engine that will make you go bananas. Half Harley, half Matchless! Thanks for a nice afternoon, an unusual sweet snack and your everlasting great stories! Once you met Harry, you'll never forget him! Proud to call you a friend man!
